Super Seniors

Super Senior golf was designed as, and continues to be, a league that supports social golfing and fellowship with a few “semi-competitive” events mixed in throughout the year. Super Seniors was organized in 1987 by Rylie Marshall and Jack Ryan. While the league has gone through a number of transitions throughout it’s history, it continues to thrive with active memberships in excess of 80 members open to both men (age 55 or older) and women (age 50 or older).

Play takes place primarily on Tuesdays (with a few Thursdays thrown in) based on tee groupings formed randomly on a weekly basis from the members who sign up in advance for play at the bulletin board outside the Pro Shop. The weekly tee sheet is posted outside the Pro Shop 8 days prior to the play date as well as emailed to the Super Seniors who provide email addresses when registering.

Registration begins in May with the opening breakfast meeting and continues throughout the season for anyone who meets the age requirement and pays the registration fee (currently $35). In addition to the 3 scrambles that take place throughout the year, Super Seniors are also invited to participate in the Founders Cup Tournament and the closing scramble in September which is followed by the closing banquet and prize presentations. It culminates in a year filled with great memories, new friends, fun golf, an amazing deal for $35.

Sign up today, you won’t regret it.
